We are happy to provide the services of a number of specialists
All our referral services are provided to make specialist treatment more affordable and more accessible to all our pet owners. By having the specialist come to us, it avoids the stress of extra travel and provides continuity of care.
Phoebe Davies BVSc MRCVS ABVA – Veterinary Acupuncture
Phoebe has a particular interest in the management of both acute and chronic pain. After seeing a number of patients suffer from chronic pain (often osteoarthitic in origin) that was intractable to conventional medicine and which seemed in itself to cause compensatory dysfunction in further areas of the body, she started to explore other options for helping to alleviate pain. We have found acupuncture to be an excellent adjunct to conventional therapy in these cases, and on some occasions nothing short of miraculous in its effects – especially as a stand alone therapy where other treatments have failed. Consequently Phoebe decided to offer veterinary acupuncture as a service in addition to her day to day veterinary work.
